This app will tell you in a glance.
SunSet Alert™ shows the amount of time until or since sundown, and allows you to set an alarm hours or minutes before or after sunset.
The sunset time is calculated from your latitude, longitude and time zone, so you do not need a data connection for this app to work.
The app will get your location from the GPS in your Android™ device or Google services if they are available, but if they are not, you can enter your coordinates.
Compatible with Android™ 3.0 (Gingerbread) and higher.
SunSet Alert™ uses the default alarm in your Android settings.
SunSet Alert™ is useful for hikers, bikers or runners who want to get home or back to their car before dark.
It is useful for dog walkers who want a reminder to walk the dog before dark.
It is useful for photographers who want to be alerted to the approaching 'Magic hour' or 'Golden hour', that hour or two before sunset when the natural light is warmer and makes your photographs rich with color.
And if you do not want to miss that romantic sunset by the sea?
Set an alarm to remind you to stop what you are doing and take a look.

Now included in Sunset Alert (1.07) are the home screen widgets "How Long Until Dark", "Sunset Countdown", and "Sunset Today".
Now you do not have open the app to see this basic information.
They can be displayed anywhere on your home screen.
